MBC Youth Group focuses on youth fellowship and discipleship for students in grades 7-12. Like many typical youth groups,
this includes creative and vigorous activities as well as strong teaching focusing on equipping youths for their transition
into adulthood.
The goals of MBY are as follows:
- Provide a fun filled environment for our church young people where fellowship is encouraged, the value of each person is celebrated and a sense of belonging is nurtured.
- Teach spiritual truths to our young people encouraging them to apply these truths to their daily lives.
- Encourage our young people to accept and embrace God's purposes for their lives (worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, mission) and to grow into the person that God wants them to be.
- Reach out to the friends of our church young people giving them opportunities to hear and accept God's gift of salvation.
- Provide current leaders and youth opportunities for leadership training and also for service.
